Texas Hill Country Wineries is set to host the first-ever Hill Country Wine Camp, offering wine enthusiasts a hands-on learning experience at the Texas Wine Collective in Fredericksburg. The camp will feature sessions on viticulture, fermentation, and wine pairing led by industry experts, providing insights into Texas wine production and the art of matching wines with local cuisine.
Participants can look forward to tastings of Texas sparkling wine with oysters, wine paired with Texas BBQ, and wine with charcuterie, all included in the $200 admission fee that covers breakfast, lunch, and happy hour. The event aims to showcase the diversity of Texas wines and the Hill Country region, offering attendees a deeper understanding of what makes Texas wine unique.
January Wiese, the executive director of Texas Hill Country Wineries, expressed excitement about the inaugural Wine Camp, emphasizing the educational and inspiring aspects of the event. With a focus on interactive sessions and hands-on experiences, the camp is designed to engage wine lovers in a fun and approachable way, led by knowledgeable professionals in the field.
In addition to the Wine Camp, Texas Hill Country Wineries also offers the Texas Wine Month Passport for a more flexible wine-tasting experience throughout October, allowing visitors to explore over 45 wineries and enjoy complimentary tastings and exclusive discounts. The organization further supports Hill Country flood recovery efforts through events like the Hill Country Road Show: RosΓ© to Rebuild and the Fall Winemaker Dinner.
Meanwhile, CardVault by Tom Brady, a trading card store founded by the legendary NFL quarterback and his team, is expanding to Dallas’ Victory Park. The store, known for its sports cards, trading cards, and authenticated memorabilia, promises collectors and fans an immersive retail experience blending local sports heritage with cutting-edge collectibles.
CardVault by Tom Brady will feature individual cards, sealed boxes, authenticated memorabilia, and exclusive autographed collectibles, all organized by sport and category. The store will also offer exclusive merchandise from top brands like Topps, Panini, and PokΓ©mon, alongside limited-edition apparel and collectibles.
The Dallas location will serve as an authorized submission center for grading services, providing on-site submission for PSA, Beckett, and SGC. With a mural honoring Dallas’ sports legends and a focus on the local collecting community, CardVault by Tom Brady aims to enhance the fan experience and celebrate the city’s rich sports culture.
As part of the store’s grand opening, CardVault by Tom Brady will launch the 2025-2026 Topps Basketball product, featuring Dallas Mavericks’ top pick Cooper Flagg on the cover. The store will operate seven days a week, remaining open during Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars home games and major events at the American Airlines Center, offering collectors and fans a unique destination to explore and celebrate their passion for sports memorabilia.
