On the nose, this Chardonnay Pinot Noir blend imparts delicate aromas of lemon zest, fresh strawberries and cream. On the palate, Chardonnay offers subtle citrus notes and fresh acidity. The Pinot Noir compliments this by adding richness and texture. The result is a full flavoured sparkling wine with a refined finish.
Non-vintage sparkling wine and is always a blend of several different vintages. This helps to maintain a freshness and consistency from year to year.
Vineyard sites are specifically selected for their generous flavoured sparkling fruit. Gentle handling in the winery ensures that the fruit flavour and freshness is retained. The base wine undergoes full malo- lactic fermentation which adds extra creaminess on the palate. After blending the wine is kept on light lees until required for secondary fermentation to retain maximum freshness and flavour.
